This is a series of paintings that, from my perspective, encapsulate "human desire". This concept will be explored through the lenses of optimism, romanticism, materialism, envy and freedom. It communicates the endless nature of humans to desire-to want— things to the point that we feel like we need them, Like a garden, our desires grow. Also like a garden, we may not see when the weeds begin to grow.

Examining various aspects of human desire will serve to question why we continuously yearn for things beyond us to the point that our realities may even become distorted by our desires.
